Earn an Associate of Applied Science(A.A.S.)Degrees or Certificate of Completion.

Associate of Applied Science Degree

An Associate of Applied Science Degree (A.A.S.) in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Sonography can be completed. Both programs are seventy two (72) semester credit hours.  The Associate of Applied Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography and Vascular Sonography programs are five (5) semesters, twenty (20) months in length. Each semester is fifteen (15)weeks. These programs prepare the student for direct occupational employment.

Associate Degree Programs:

AAS Degree in Vascular Sonography

Established in 2015, the Associate of Applied Science degree in Vascular Sonography is 72 semester credit hours and prepares students for employment in Vascular Sonography labs including vein centers.

Program Length: 5 semesters (20 Months)
Program Cost: $30,025 if completed within normal time
Additional Costs: $1900 Books, Supplies, Uniform cost.
Typical Graduate Debt: $25,000

AAS in Diagnostic Medical Sonography

The Associate of Applied Science degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography is 72 semester credit hours and prepares students for Abdominal, OB-GYN, Small parts including Breast sonography employment.

Program Length:  5 semesters (20 Months)
Program Cost: $30,025 if completed within normal time
Additional Costs: $1900 Books, Supplies, Uniform cost..

Certificate Program:

Echocardiogram Technician Certificate

The Echocardiogram Technican program is a CAAHEP accredited certificate program.  This cardiac ultrasound program is seventy three (73) semester credit hours and prepares students for cardiac sonography employment.

Program Length: 5 semesters (20 Months)
Program Cost: $24,200 if completed within normal time.
Additional Costs: $1900 Books, Supplies, Uniform cost.
Typical Graduate Debt: $20,000

All programs are designed to ensure that graduates acquire the required theoretical and hands-on training necessary to pass the ARDMS, CCI or ARRT registry exams and acquire entry level positions. All programs require students to complete Externship hours prior to graduation.

License:  Few states require Sonographers to be licensed. these states are  New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, and Oregon only.

Registration:  Many Employers require Sonographers to be registered. Students and graduates can take the registry exams offered by the following independent agencies.
