Associate of Applied Science Degree
The college offers Associate of Applied Science Degrees (A.A.S.) in Diagnostic Medical Sonography and Vascular Sonography. Both programs are seventy two (72) semester credit hours. The Associate of Applied Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography and Vascular Sonography programs can be completed in five (5) semesters, twenty (20) months in length. Each semester is fifteen (15)weeks. These programs prepare the student for direct occupational employment.

All programs are designed to ensure that graduates acquire the required theoretical and hands-on training necessary for employment and pass the ARDMS, CCI or ARRT registry exams and acquire entry level positions. All programs require students to complete Externship hours prior to graduation.

Registration: Many Employers require Sonographers to be registered. Students and graduates can take the registry exams offered by the following independent agencies.
